"My mother is cared for with dignity and respect."

My mother (89) was admitted to Eastways from Norwich hospital. It was the only home for miles that had any spaces - which kind of worried me. I found an old report rating it as poor - I can't begin to tell you how awful I felt the day I left her there. However, a new manager had taken over a couple of months before Mum arrived and has really pulled the place up by its bootstraps - it has a new rating of 'good'. My mother is treated with dignity and repect and is very well cared for - there are only 10 residents and it's like a family. All the staff are saints and I genuinely look forward to visiting my mother, despite her frailty and confusion. The home could do with a lick of paint, but apart from that I cannont commend the staff more highly..
