"Victorian power and elegance"

A review of Forncett Industrial Steam Museum by The Idle Fellow written on Sunday 25th of May 2008

Wonderful collection of the giants of our industrial past, as used for pumping water, driving factories and powering Tower Bridge in London. A steam engine in motion is warm and friendly, as is the museum. The home made cakes are pretty good too. Even my wife, who claims not to be moved by machinery, admits that it is fascinating to watch the bits go round! In operation on the first Sunday of the month from May to November..
