A review of Hethersett Social Club by Front Man written on Saturday 3rd of March 2012

As a member of one of the bands that play at the club I have to say that it never ceases to amaze me that Mr. Bird and co. should feel the need to be so derisory. The saying "you can please some of the people" etc. never rang more true. Negative and derogatory comments such as some of these here, serve not only to give people a totally the wrong impression, but can only harm a club trying hard to serve the community. Many clubs and pubs have either closed or ceased entertainment of any description,and the fact that this club continues to provide for the community as it does should be commended not unjustly critised. The likes of Mr. Bird probably are not that welcome anyway, and the club are better off without him. If the time comes that the club does close it will not be for the want of trying, more a case of lack of support and apathy of the general public. .
