I have been riding on and off for twenty years and often got put off by pretentious stables. It was very refreshing walking into Keswick stables and being greated by warm smiles and encouraged to have fun most of all with my allocated horse! I was a bit nervous but was soon put at ease by the instructers, other riders and my well schooled horse. You are matched with a horse or pony that suits you best. At this stable no horse or pony is over worked they have a couple of hours of work a day maximum and two full days off each which being an animal lover I really appreciated. As a bonus I have lost my nerves, have better posture and improved my riding. I would highly reccomend giving them a try..
