"Booking nightmare"

I'm sure there must be an easier way of booking an appointment spent about 10 mins on the phone constantly repeating my details only to be told 'that person doesn't have any appointments' or 'that person isnt in' when I asked for someone else and as I had to make two appointments it was a nightmare and I was losing the will to live at the end of the conversation.
