"Brilliant, well worth a detour"
A review of Hillfield Nursery & Farm Shop by Two_Sheds - Saturday 14th of June 2008
Oh, this is my new favourite nursery/plant centre.
It's also a Pick Your Own fruit farm and Farm Shop. It looks like a ramshackle little place, then you go through a bit, and it expands into this amazing plant emporium. They have all sorts of interesting things: fruit trees, large bamboos, bedding, lots of herbs, perennials, shrubs.
Also bantams and doves for sale (there were lots of little baby chickens wandering about amongst the plants today).
We came away with some lovely plants, gooseberries and eggs (blue ones, from Polish hens)
