I have Mastercare insurance for my Hotpoint washing machine. The machine stopped working, noisy with smoke, and I requested a call out under the insurance. I was told today between 8 and 6. I then read on the net many of the awful experiences of customers of Mastercare and doubted whether the engineer would turn up at all! However, he arrived at 10.30 and 1hr40mins later my washing machine is working beautifully, with many parts replaced. This is the second call out on my Mastercare insurance in 8 years and I can find no fault. Maybe it is because the engineer was directly from Indesit/Hotpoint. I don't know.
