"The food's gone downhill"
A review of The Rushcutters by Colin H. Blades - Thursday 5th of July 2007
We used to go regularly for a meal out at this great location, but the last time we went, they had changed the menu. I don't know whether it's changed hands, but the menu has become much more expensive and not very good value at all. My wife had a pork chop (advertised as chops), accompanied by a non-descipt sauce, a spoonful of mash and a few leaves. I had the sirlion steak which came with a few chips and not a lot else. We paid £10.49 each and although complaining to the waitress, left still hungry. We are now telling our friends of the demise of this great pub. I think that they may have upped the prices for the tourist season on the broads, but don't forget us locals who support it all year round.
