In Central Norwich, there are many restaurants and cafes in the Norwich Lanes area. Take a look at Exchange Street or St Benedicts Street for a start.
Also check out Prince of Wales Road and Magdalen Street for good value, ethnic food including Torero, a tapas restaurant. For a lighter meal, there are many small bars, cafes and restaurants including The Waffle House on St Giles Street and Pizza Express on St Benedicts Street. For high-end fine dining, there is Roger Hickman’s Restaurant in St Giles Street.
If you are looking for somewhere where you can get a bite to eat and do some shopping, Norwich Lanes is ideal. Both Chapelfield and Castle Mall shopping centres also have a good choice of restaurants and cafes (mostly chains).
